In this photographic body of work I have accumulated over the past years, I want to process my time growing up in Berlin.

The influences are my upbringing at a catholic school and the people I've met from various hedonist scenes of the city, who I've also used as models for these pictures.

This work is me trying to get a feel for the current Zeitgeist – a time where ever more drastic physical, chemical, and screen-related experiences are sought in the absence of meaningful emotional connections.
